5. CNFA's Farm Service Centers
Across the developing world, CNFA bridges the gap between farmers and quality agricultural inputs and services through our Farm Service Center (FSC) Model. By facilitating access to better inputs, knowledge, and tools, we empower farmers to transition from a subsistence farming system to a commercially-oriented one, earn a living, and improve food security and nutrition. FSCs are “one-stop-shops” offering inputs (seeds, fertilizers, etc.), veterinary advice and supplies, and services like crop price information, financing and trade credit, and equipment leasing to up to 20,000 farmers per location. We partner with businesses, the public sector, and civil society to implement our Farm Service Center Model, with the shared objective of empowering farmers in developing countries to participate in market-driven agricultural economies.
