Kim Ibarra is a Managing Director at the National Quality Forum. Throughout her career, her work has focused on improving quality, access, and outcomes through stakeholder engagement, research and evaluation, and policy development. In her current role, Kim leads the design and execution of innovative approaches to address national healthcare priorities, including the social determinants of health portfolio within the Quality Innovation division.
Kim has diverse professional experience from across the healthcare continuum in the US and Canada, working in home and community-based service organizations, palliative care, international HIV/AIDS advocacy, hospitals, and academic research. Kim holds a Master of Science in health services research from the University of Toronto, and an executive MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband and Lab mix rescue dog.
