SVP Specialty Pharmacy
Two Labs Pharma
Raleigh, North Carolina
Ann graduated from college with degrees in social work and nursing. She began her career at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC on a large nephrology unit. She then set on a path that would dictate her nursing career by becoming a clinical research coordinator in oncology. She spent 12 years coordinating clinical trials and working with oncology patients to help them understand clinical research.
It was from this experience that Ann felt there was a better way to take care of cancer patients coming to an academic medical center. She joined Dr. Mark Graham in starting the first multidisciplinary oncology clinic in the country serving breast cancer patients at UNC. She later started the multidisciplinary thoracic oncology program with Drs. Mark Socinski and Frank Detterbeck. Multidisciplinary care of cancer patients became Ann’s passion. She published and spoke nationally to groups on establishing, staffing and maintaining multidisciplinary cancer clinics for 14 years.
After 26 years at UNC, Ann retired and moved into the private sector. She built a nurse navigator program at Biologics, Inc in Cary, NC to provide oncology case management to patients supported by their payer benefits. It was from this position Ann moved into patient support within the specialty pharmacy. Ann designed and implemented patient care protocols for the patients served by Biologics Specialty pharmacy. She also developed the first pharmacovigilance team in specialty pharmacy.
Eleven years after joining Biologics Ann again made a career change. She brings her passion for excellence in patient care and patient experience to Two Labs Pharma. Ann has a husband, 2 adult children and a Boykin Spaniel named Bailey. She lives in Raleigh, NC.
