Dr. Eva Berrios-Colon earned her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy at the Arnold & Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York and her Masters of Public Health degree with an emphasis on Community Health Sciences from SUNY Downstate. She completed residency training at the Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center with a focus on Pharmacy Practice. Dr Berrios-Colon is Board-Certified in Pharmacotherapy and Certified in Anticoagulation. Dr. Berrios-Colon is an active member of local and national pharmacy and public health organizations including ASHP, APHA, APhA, PSSNY, and NYSCHP. Dr Berrios-Colon is currently the Director of Co-Curricular & Community Affairs at Long Island University. She is also an Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at LIU. She has served as Chair of the Social, Behavioral and Administrative Sciences department at Touro College of Pharmacy and as an Associate Professor of Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences at the same institution. She has practiced in Ambulatory Care at The Brooklyn Hospital Center where she served as Ambulatory Care PGY2 Residency Program Director. Her research interests are in pharmacist mom stress levels and in community health.
