Elizabeth Call holds Master’s degrees in Library & Information Science and Public History & Archives. For the past 15 years she has held various positions within a variety of settings, managing and providing access to cultural heritage collections. Elizabeth has been extremely active within the American Library Association (ALA) and the Rare Books & Manuscripts Section (RBMS) of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL), having held leadership roles on several committees. Most applicably to this discussion, she was chair of the Committee on Archives, Libraries, and Museums (CALM), for several years and worked hard to create programming at ALA’s Annual Conference that highlighted dialogues that cut across archives, libraries, and museums. She is currently in the thick of planning RBMS’s 2020 national conference as co-chair of the Conference Planning Committee.
