Virtual Exploration of ALA Accredited MS and PhD Programs

Prospective students are encouraged to attend this virtual showcasing of ALA-accredited graduate programs across the country. The event will start with welcoming remarks from Dr. Gary Marchionini, Dean and Cary C. Boshamer Distinguished Professor, at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Then a general overview of career paths in the information profession will be given. The last segment will consist of virtual breakout sessions for each participating institution. Each breakout session will contain a graduate school representative, so they can highlight the unique features of their program and answer program-specific questions. Prospective students will have the opportunity transition in and out of breakout rooms.
