As both the world and our patient mix changes, the standards of care do not. The individuals we care for are sicker and how we deliver care is more complicated than ever before. In this session we will reflect on questions we should ask ourselves surrounding reduction of complications that could possibly be prevented through targeted interventions. We will discuss Holistic Skin Health with a focus on prevention & reducing complications. Other focuses will include legal implications and care during emergency situations, such as, but not limited to the COVID pandemic.
