This session will discuss admissions and appropriate placement in particular environments with appropriate roommates (cohorting) to help manage patients. Staff need to know patient stories and history to be aware of triggers so they may proactively set up appropriate interventions to prevent problems with a focus on non-pharma options.
Learning Objectives:
Identify mental health diagnoses and their differences.
Utilize patient stories/backgrounds to develop person-centered care plans including prevention and reducing behaviors.
State pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for individual patients.
