Person-centered care combined with the principles of the world’s leading hotel company, The Ritz Carlton, offers a clinical yet patient centric perspective on how health care professionals can meet and exceed patient needs. Thus, providing not only the patient but the families of patients, colleagues and administrators with ease and the knowing that standards are not only being met but exceeded throughout the patient’s care. Kris Mastrangelo designs her presentations to be interactive “case studies”; utilizing real time examples, she calls upon participants to think on their feet, work with one another to develop their contributions, while providing quantifiable, measurable results from her own experiences with patient centered care. Kris will help participants develop their own strategies for implementing person centered care in their facilities. Participants will leave this lecture with a clear trajectory of what the best practices are to overcome barriers to person-centered care in their practices or facilities. This lecture is a combination of patient centered care, leadership, and developing one’s own standard operating procedure from “good to great.”
