Emma Azelborn is a Software Developer at iZotope, Inc., with expertise in DSP and realtime audio processing. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science Engineering and a Bachelors of Science in Sound Engineering at the University of Michigan. She lived in Los Angeles, CA for a few years while working at Goodhertz, Inc., and now is in Boston, MA where iZotope is based. At iZotope, Emma is an active member of the DSP Chapter, leading a biweekly reading group and giving lectures on DSP fundamentals for the team.
When she's not developing audio software, Emma is a musician and songwriter. She was a member of Pasadena Master Chorale and loves singing tunes in harmony with friends. She is a passionate social dancer, dancing Contra, East Coast Swing, Blues, Fusion, and a bit of Tango. She loves crafting and sewing her own clothes, and expressing herself through fashion she creates herself.
