Tyler Davis, Ph.D is an embedded FPGA engineer working for AudioLogic, Inc in Bozeman, Montana. His current work involves developing audio processing systems for System on Chip FPGAs and constructing a high performance audio processing platform that uses an Arria 10 System on Module FPGA which researchers can use to prototype hearing aid algorithms or other audio processing systems. Tyler also has experience developing Linux loadable kernel modules to communicate directly with algorithms running on an FPGA, testing and designing hardware, and working with embedded radar platforms. Tyler earned his Ph. D in Electrical Engineering in 2018 at Montana State University where he studied causality and FPGA design. In addition to his Ph. D, Tyler also received a MS in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University as well as a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Physics at the University of Montana - Missoula.
