Pedro Ramoneda Franco was carrying out his research last year at the Sound and Music Computing Lab of the University of Porto as well as his bachelor thesis in computer science engineering. Pedro Ramoneda has studied music from a very young age with his mother, Elvira Franco. Pedro continued his musical career studying Piano Performance at the Conservatorio Profesional de Musica de Zaragoza (CPMZ) with Cristina Perez de Albeniz and Sergio Bernal. And later at the Conservatorio Superior de Aragon (CSMA) under Lluis Rodriguez where he did not finish his studies. He studied Computer Science Engineering at the University of Zaragoza, where he developed his passion for technology and got to know his two new passions, embedded systems and AI. Moreover, Pedro has worked as software developer and piano teacher.
For the full last year, Pedro researched in Porto advised by Gilberto Bernardes head of the SMC group (INESC TEC/FEUP). There, he has mixed the two facets of his life, music and technology, and hopes to continue his career in this field for many years to come. Pedro is currently studying for a master's degree in Sound and Music Computing and working at the Music Technology Group (MTG) in Barcelona.
