Travis Skare is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, researching at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA). Research interests include efficient, real-time percussion synthesis, focusing on cymbals, and real-time GPU audio processing especially pertaining to modal synthesis. He has a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford.
