Student Intern
Bang and Olufsen, University of Huddersfield
Stefan Gorzynski began working at B&O on his placement year during his Batchelor's Degree in Music Technology and Audio Systems at the University of Huddersfield. He then went on to complete his degree and gain a First Class Honours as well as the departmental prize for best dissertation.
During his time at B&O he researched standardised listening test paradigms along with more novel approaches based on sensory analysis methods traditionally used in the food industry. This then led into a development project in which he created a flexible listening test generation software in Max, and then a VR interface for this so that it could be used to carry out tests in immersive VR environments. Along with this he assisted in planning and execution of listening tests with other members of the research department.
