Scholarly activity, defined as a creative work that is peer reviewed and publicly disseminated, is needed in most institutions to evaluate the activities of faculty members. This seminar will be centered around the current scholarly activity publication practices of the audience's schools in relation to any formal documents utilized to maintain fairness of scholarly publications in group research projects. Participants will discuss established models of scholarly activity publication in order to stimulate new ideas for use in creating an outline that ensures effective and fair research duties and author position.
Learning Objectives:
Recognize prevalent scholarly activity publication practices at audience's institution.
Identify problem and or successful areas regarding publication practices at audience's institution.
Develop an outline for use as a potential guideline that identifies researcher roles and author position for publication.
