Monday, March 16, 2020
1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
CE: 1
Dental school faculty and administrators are models for our student’s ethical decisions. Faculty and administrators face complicated ethical challenges daily. There is a need for a systematic approach to ethical decision-making for faculty and administrators. Importantly, such decisions have legal ramifications. The ethical goal is the best outcome for all parties, including the institution. Through cases and interactive discussion, this session will introduce participants to the concept of ethical decision-making for faculty and administrators, and discuss how using best practices can promote personal and professional well-being, student enrichment through observation of ethical role models and institutional effectiveness. Co-sponsored by ASDE.
