Research studies show that dental and allied dental students encounter sexual harassment from patients. The workshop will examine ways to keep students safe during these encounters as well as policies and documents to ensure safety for students. In addition, this workshop will assist faculty with developing tools for students to deal with patient sexual harassment.
Learning Objectives:
Create safe conditions in dental and allied dental programs to avoid incidents of sexual harassment .
Develop policies for sexual harassment in dental and allied dental programs.
Provide students with tools to handle the repercussions of sexual harassment.
