10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
CE: 1
Self-discovery and the formation of the skills necessary to be an effective dental educator begin early in one's professional career. Roseman Possibilities Team (RPT) is a student-led organization whose mission is to increase educational satisfaction among students and faculty. RPT utilizes methods to provide real-time feedback to enact changes that impact the success of student dental education. With an emphasis on active learning and management of time, RPT attempts to improve classroom interaction and satisfaction of both learners and educators. This unique approach allows students to experience potential obstacles in dental education and emphasizes the ability to discover their educational pathway.
Learning Objectives:
Identify barriers in receiving effective student feedback.
Discover a framework that promotes student involvement in classroom improvement and real-time constructive feedback as a pathway for future educators.
Demonstrate innovative ways to implement useful data from student feedback and the development of a framework that has a positive impact.
