Early career faculty members and individuals applying for an entry-level position in an academic institution should have a fundamental knowledge of the promotion process. Assembling a dossier to best represent one’s teaching, research and service can be an overwhelming and anxiety-ridden experience for early career faculty, even though this is a critical step towards promotion. During this session, a select panel will share strategies that new educators can use to facilitate the preparation for promotion and tenure process. The audience will have the possibility to engage the panel and ask questions.
