The arrival of the Dental Licensure Objective Structured Clinical Examination (DLOSCE) will soon be upon us, and U.S. dental boards will have the opportunity to use a valid and reliable alternative to current patient-based clinical examinations, to help inform licensure decision making. This interactive educational session will provide an update on all things DLOSCE, including the technical side, such as examination development and status of field tests, and the functional side, including benefits of the DLOSCE, what to expect when the examination is launched and how best to prepare for this new examination opportunity.
