A-106 - Institutional Pathway in Managing Complex Cases: A Logic Model Analysis

Addressing the needs of the 21st century health care system, the Institute of Medicine requires clinicians to function efficiently in a model where they “cooperate, collaborate, communicate and integrate care in teams.” Academic dental institutions are designing and implementing various educational pathways to best prepare graduates. Tufts University School of Dental Medicine implemented the Management of Complex Case seminar aimed to facilitate interdisciplinary and interprofessional education in the didactic setting and transfer the knowledge in the clinical practice. Using the Logic educational model analysis, this session will provide participants an overview of this dental school pathway to manage complex cases.
