I-071 - Coalition for Modernizing Dental Licensure: New Pathways

The mission of the Coalition for Modernizing Dental Licensure is to ensure patient safety, increase access to care, and promote professional mobility by modernizing the dental licensure process. The wave of change in professional licensure includes significant advances in moving dental licensure away from the requirement for a single-encounter, procedure based examination on patients and increasing portability across states. Come learn how the work of the ADEA, ADA and ASDA and over 50 institutions, association and others (including over 25 dental schools and programs) are changing the face of dental licensure across the nation and how dental education is impacted.
