The Small Group Discussion on “Difficult Wounds” gives participants the opportunity to engage in case discussions with board-certified large animal surgeons about the treatment of challenging wounds in horses. While the focus is on treatment modalities, the diagnostic workup, surgical aftercare, and short- and long-term prognosis are also discussed. At the conclusion of the discussion, participants gain an understanding of practical, state-of-the-art techniques to manage difficult wounds in the equine patient.
Pre-registration is required. Attendance is limited to 20.
