Nicola Mason is an Associate Professor and holds the James and Gilmore Endowed Chair Professorship at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her veterinary degree from the Royal Veterinary College and her Immunology PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Mason’s research focuses on developing safe and effective immunotherapies for dogs with cancer and autoimmunity. Her work includes development of recombinant listeria vaccines to induce anti-tumor immunity, adoptive cell therapies using genetically engineered T cells for lymphoma and pemphigus and generation of canine antibodies using scFv phage display.
