Detailed analyses of blood and tissue samples from patients with rheumatic diseases are contributing to major advances in the knowledge of immune pathology in these diseases. This session is intended for both clinicians and researchers, and faculty will introduce the fundamental aspects of generating and analyzing high-dimensional data through single cell RNA-seq, CyTOF and related technologies. They will review examples of how these technologies are advancing knowledge of immune dysregulation in SLE, and how these analyses may reveal new aspects of SLE pathogenesis and patient stratification.
