In light of updates to the ACR guidelines for the management of gout and the controversy with ACP guidelines, there is confusion about what to recommend to patients regarding gout management. This session will aim to clarify areas of confusion, and fill in the gaps where the guidelines may not cover all potential therapy options. Faculty will review clinical scenarios that the guidelines hit on, and some scenarios the guidelines miss, as evidence evolves quickly or does not adequately exist at all.
