In Phase 2 of the Accelerating Medicines Partnership study of systemic lupus erythematosus, over 150 patients with lupus nephritis were recruited for collection of clinical measures as well as kidney biopsies, blood, serum and urine. Kidney biopsies are being analyzed by both whole cell single-cell RNA-seq and nuclear RNA-seq. Cells from peripheral blood are being analyzed by mass cytometry and single cell RNA-seq. Both cells and fluid from urine are been assayed for urine biomarkers of kidney disease. This session will discuss the methods used to generate data and present findings from the ongoing analyses of kidney and urine.
