Patients with OA and RA have joint pain. The mechanisms responsible for the pain are now just beginning to be understood. This session will cover the mechanisms responsible for the development of pain in both inflammatory and degenerative arthritis, with additional information on the efficacy of newer anti-NGF compounds for the treatment of OA pain.
