This session will outline and discuss new, evolving and emerging value-based payment models in rheumatology. Faculty will examine how changes to payment models impact strategic planning and care delivery designs, and discuss ways to deploy technology solutions to support and enhance pathways, clinical workflows and care management processes tied to the payer contract. As the healthcare industry shifts from fee-for-service to value-based care, significant pressure is being put on physicians to make changes to processes and workflows. This session will review how the value-based care model will impact rheumatologists.
