What is the evidence for and against antiresorptive therapy drug holidays? At this session, faculty will review the existing data and practical considerations in recommending drug holidays for patients on these therapies, as well as specific clinical situations of interest. They will examine clinical presentations of atypical femur fractures, osteonecrosis of the jaw and other adverse effects of antiresorptive therapy on bones.

• Discuss the potential harms and benefits for consider drug holidays from antiresorptive therapy
• Use current evidence to evaluate specific clinical situations with regard to drug holidays from antiresorptive therapy
• Describe the clinical presentation and treatment of atypical femur fractures
