Dr. Kuo earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biology from Stanford University. Under the mentorship of Dr. Or Gozani, Dr. Kuo studied epigenetics and chromatin biology, with focus on histone post-translational modifications. Dr. Kuo completed his postdoctoral training in Dr. Paul J. Utz’s laboratory at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he developed unique strengths in clinical immunology, mass cytometry and other single-cell assays, and epigenetic regulation of the human immune system. Dr. Kuo currently serves as a Senior Scientist in the Division of Immunology and Rheumatology at Stanford’s School of Medicine.
