National Clinical Education Representative

Brysen Keith, MS, is an OMS IV from A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona (ATSU-SOMA) – Hawaii Community Health Campus. Originally from Denver Colorado, Brysen attended undergrad in Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Biology. He then went on to receive a Master of Bioengineering from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
During his tenure at Anschutz, Brysen specialized in translational biodesign with a focus in surgical devices and software engineering. While at Anschutz, he developed multiple devices for the Department of Interventional Radiology at the University of Colorado Hospital. Additionally, he has worked on projects with many industry partners including Epic, Medtronic, Stryker, and Celgene.
At ATSU-SOMA, Brysen is passionate about student and physician advocacy and has held many leadership positions including Student Government Association President and Vice President. Brysen is currently serving as the American Association of Colleges of Osteoapthic Medicine National Clinical Education Representative for the Council of Osteopathic Student Government Presidents. In this capacity, he serves as the clinical education representative of over 31,000 osteopathic medical students and works to ensure clinical training excellence and fair representation in osteoapthic licensure.
In his spare time, Brysen is an avid volleyball player and enjoys scuba diving and hiking. He is planning to pursue a career in academic/critical care medicine.
