Alexandra specializes in whole building life cycle assessment, embodied carbon analysis and healthy materials vetting. She brings a deep understanding of the environmental impacts of designing with mass timber, and knowledge of Red List chemical hazards in building materials. Alexandra received her B.A. in Environmental Science and Policy with a concentration in Climate Change from Smith College. Her experience includes the embodied carbon analysis of over five-hundred structural projects to develop benchmarking strategies in partnership with the Carbon Leadership Forum. She strives to optimize the material efficiency in all projects for high performance, low carbon impact and adaptive reuse.
