Defining a “Healthier Building”

To be truly high performing, a building must support its occupants’ health and performance. But how does a project succeed in being a healthier building?

This comprehensive session will consist of two parts:

First, a roundtable discussion will bring together an owner, an architect, and a materials consultant, offering complementary perspectives on what makes a building “healthier”. Panel members will open with a conversation about why this work is important and how to define objectives and the criteria for success from each point of view. We will review a variety of different pathways and share lessons learned from our collective experiences.

After the roundtable discussion, the panelists will break out according to the three roles represented and facilitate structured brainstorming sessions that delve deeper into relevant issues. In the end, we will regroup to share top strategies and next steps.
