Ashley D Meagher, MD MPH is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Indiana University in the Division of Acute Care Surgery. She completed fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in 2018, and General Surgery Residency at Loyola Medical Center in 2017. She has a passion for health outcomes after Emergency General Surgery, Care of the Geriatric Trauma Patient, and Improving the Distribution of Surgeons. She is the Director of Research for her Division, and was awarded an AHRQ K12 award to evaluate utility of implementing a learning health system approach to transfers for EGS patients. She is an avid quilter, and started a comfort care quilting program at IU Health, with the help of her mentor, Dr. Eileen Bulger.
