Virtual Conference FAQs
How long will the Virtual Conference content be available? All content will be available through July 2021.
What are Livestream Sessions? Between July 14 and July 16 (Tuesday-Thursday), there will be 23 total programs streamed live at specific times. All event times are in Central Daylight Time. You will see and hear the presenters, but they will not see or hear you. You will be able to chat in questions to them during the session, and participate in a discussion chat, too.
How do I watch a Livestream Session? Locate the Livestream session you would like to attend and click on the title of the session. Then click on the Join Livestream button and you will automatically be directed to the livestream.
What if I don't see that 'Join Livestream' button? 1 in 5 virtual conference attendees are time zone-challenged (or so we've been told). You may need to set your watch to Central Daylight Time.
What if I miss a Livestream Session? Can I watch it later? All Livestream Sessions will be recorded and will be made available for on-demand access approximately three business days after the last day of sessions.
What are Prerecorded Sessions? In addition to the livestreamed sessions July 14 to July 16, registrants will have access to even more programs beginning July 20. Some sessions are group recordings with all the panelists, and some are individual narrated slide presentations, but they're all made possible by an A++ lineup of presenters, and they're all going be available to you, on demand.
How do I watch Prerecorded Sessions? Locate the Prerecorded session you would like to access and click on the title of the session. You can even add it to your personal schedule now, if you like. Starting Monday, July 20, click on the On-demand Recording button to watch.
How do I watch prerecorded sessions? Locate the prerecorded session you would like to access and click on the title of the session.
Will presenters on Prerecorded Sessions be available for questions? Yes, at set times on Wednesday, July 22, and Friday, July 24 presenters will be available for Q&A chats. This schedule will be made available shortly.
How does a Virtual Exhibit Hall work? The need for innovative products and services isn't diminished by a pandemic, and AALL's partners have taken the plunge with us into the virtual space. You'll be able to learn about their latest offerings, view content they've created just for AALL, and even enter to win some sweet giveaways.
Can I talk to an exhibitor face-to-face? Yes! Locate the exhibitor you would like to speak with and then select Video Chat. Check the availabilty for the representatives listed and then click on the Video Chat button underneath the representative's name.
Do I need to download any additional software for the Video Chat? No, all you need is a modern, up-to-date web browser, an Internet connection and web camera (if you wish to show your video). After you click on the Video Chat button, it will open a new window in your web browser and you will automatically be taken into the video chat room.
When can I visit? Our exhibitors have so much to show you that we've scheduled an entire Partner Solutions Day on Monday, July 13, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CDT. You are welcome to visit the Virtual Exhibit Hall at any time, but we have scheduled designated times for you to spend with exhibitors each day (1:00 to 2:00 p.m. CDT, Tuesday through Thursday).
