Julia is a core member of Normandeau’s wind-wildlife team, with over 20 years’ experience in 23 countries. Her experience includes avian risk assessments and guideline documents on mitigating wildlife impacts. She works directly with Normandeau’s technology team to design, test, and deploy remote wildlife monitoring systems. She is technical director of a three year study of marine fauna in the NY OPA on behalf of NYSERDA, and a two year study of marine fauna offshore NC and SC on behalf of BOEM. She is principal author of The Relative Vulnerability of Migratory Bird Species to Offshore Wind Energy Projects on the Atlantic Outer Continental Shelf: An Assessment Method and Database.
