Emily Hildreth joined the Bureau of Ocean Energy (BOEM) in 2019 where she coordinates the permitting process for utility-scale offshore wind farms, conducts leasing policy analysis and leads BOEM's collaboration with the Bureau of Safety & Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) on incident response. Previously, Emily spent five years at BSEE's Headquarters in Washington, DC. Emily initially joined the federal government as a Presidential Management Fellow. She has a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.A. from UC San Diego.
