Ann Ford is a partner in the Chicago office of national law firm Hall Prangle and Schoonveld. She provides strategic, business and legal advice to clients in the highly regulated healthcare industry on compliance, regulatory and transactional matters. Her practice focuses on representing healthcare clients including providers, such as hospitals, hospital systems, surgicenters, healthcare staffing companies, and life sciences companies including start-up, small and mid-sized medical device, supply and pharmaceutical companies.
Ann's experience includes over 15 years of executive leadership in healthcare delivery and manufacturer/supply organizations. Prior to joining Hall Prangle & Schoonveld, as the chief compliance officer and deputy general counsel of a large US-based international medical device, supply and distribution company, Ann developed global and US-based programs in healthcare compliance and participated in strategic acquisitions of businesses.
Ann has also served as general counsel of two Chicago hospitals and as a partner in a professional liability litigation firm in Chicago. Ann had a career in high-risk clinical nursing in obstetrics, pediatric and neonatal intensive care before practicing law.
