Kathryn launched and manages the MedTech Innovator Accelerator and Showcase, which supports 50 early and mid-stage medical device, diagnostic, and digital health companies each year. In 2016, she helped spin the nonprofit entity out of the venture capital firm where it was founded. To date, MedTech Innovator has supported 185 alumni that have gone on to raise over $1 billion in follow-on equity funding, brought 37 products to market and achieved 7 acquisitions.
