As Vice President of Wasatch Solar Management, Jay manages the design and implementation of new construction and retrofit residential and commercial projects in Utah and California. With 15-years of experience in real estate development and management, he is committed to helping the company develop sustainable, energy-efficient, and cost-effective buildings that use technology, like solar energy, to improve building performance and provide positive community impact. As one of the developers of the Soleil Lofts Project in Utah, Jay has facilitated the development of a first of its kind all electric apartment community that combines solar, EV charging and intelligent energy storage with energy-efficiency to help improve the air quality on the Wasatch Front and provide a Virtual Power Plant, managed by the local utility. Prior to Wasatch, Jay managed over $400M in residential and commercial development projects for several companies. Jay is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Finance and resides in Salt Lake City with his wife and children.
