Over the past 18 years, Charlie has worked in the consulting engineering field with involvement in Brownfields assessment/remediation/redevelopment, renewable power generation permitting/engineering, energy transmission expansion, and commercial development. Having joined TRC in 2006, Charlie is currently a Manager in the engineering, construction and remediation group working on projects located in New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and the Midwest. Charlie has managed hundreds of projects beginning with due diligence acquisition through remediation and into redevelopment. He has managed over 20 EPA funded Brownfields programs for entities across New England. Charlie has been involved with solar development since 2010 when the first post-closure use permit was issued in Massachusetts for a landfill in Greenfield. Charlie also supports developers, municipalities, industrial facilities, energy installations and linear projects by providing remedial, engineering, and construction phase services. Charlie has also presented at conferences and technical seminars across the country on the topics of Brownfields redevelopment and remedial technologies. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Lafayette College, has held a Professional Geologist license since 2005, and a Certified Hazardous Material Manager license since 2010.
