National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Aron Habte is a research scientist at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the Power System Engineer Center under the Sensing Predictive Analytics Group. For the past eight years, he has been working on research and development experience in solar and atmospheric radiation measurements, modeling, data quality assessment, uncertainty quantification, and standards/best practices development. He is currently working on the update of the National Solar Radiation Database (NSRDB), radiometric data analysis, modeling, and standards development. He is a chair of two ASTM International standards subcommittees on radiometry and statistics and vice chair of ASTM International committee on Solar, Geothermal and Other Alternative Energy Sources.
