Dr. Anastasiia Watters has devoted her career to solar energy, with an equal balance between consulting, product development, and research. She has more than seven years of engineering and applied research in the field, with experience in both photovoltaic (PV) and concentrator photovoltaic (CPV) systems. Dr. Watters has experience with energy performance analysis, capacity tests, plant commissioning, solar resource measurements, design of PV monitoring systems, design and implementation of standard and customized instrumentation, and technical support of industrial, commercial, and residential PV plants.
Dr. Watters also has experience working with reliability test and certification of PV modules. She previously conducted research in the design, fabrication, and characterization of PV devises and materials for cost-effective PV energy harvesting. She also provided technical support of operation and maintenance (O&M) for PV systems. Dr. Watters currently develops performance and energy models for in-field systems; conducts technology reviews; and performs operations and maintenance support, capacity, and commissioning tests. A Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Watters completed her graduate studies in the U.S. She is fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian.
