IGS Solar Energy
As Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs, Katie is responsible for representing IGS Solar with state legislatures and utility commissions across the country. Additionally, she helps the Solar team anticipate the challenges and opportunities brought about by the rapidly changing solar policy landscape.
Prior to joining IGS, Katie was a Senior Director for State Affairs with the Solar Energy Industries Association where she led SEIA’s regulatory and legislative activity in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and other eastern states. Prior to SEIA, Katie was a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Energy Technologies Program where she managed solar and energy efficiency market transformation activities, including workforce development and international issues. She is a graduate of the University of Virginia and earned her Masters in Public Policy and Environmental Management from Duke University.
