Ted is the director of policy at Stem, working towards building thriving markets for artificial intelligence-enabled energy storage with innovative policy leadership. In his role, Ted has led major regulatory and legislative initiatives to fully value the many services energy storage can provide and reduce barriers to efficient deployment of energy storage for customers. Prior to Stem, Ted was co-founder and associate executive director of the Clean Coalition, where he wrote or influenced dozens of bills and regulatory decisions, across a range of distributed energy resources topics. Ted received his B.S. and M.S. in computer science from MIT and an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School.
