Energy-Water-Land Lead Analyst

Jordan Macknick is the Lead Energy-Water-Land Analyst for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). His primary work addresses the environmental impacts of energy technologies while seeking opportunities for energy and ecological synergies. In his capacity in the Resources and Sustainability Group at NREL, he analyzes national and regional implications of different energy pathways in the context of water and land resources. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Environmental Studies from Hamline University and a Master’s of Environmental Science from the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies at Yale University.
