Utilities and customers can both benefit from collaboration and joint planning to meet clean energy goals. As renewable energy and carbon goals proliferate at the state, utility, corporate and city level, partiers are increasingly interested in how to align these efforts to ensure clean energy development is efficient and impactful. To achieve their clean energy goals, many large customers have begun to more actively engage in utility planning processes. This poster explores case studies of customer engagement in IRP processes, approaches to increased collaboration, and potential areas of alignment in customer and utility planning.
