Category: Rate Design and Valuing Distributed Energy Resources
The past year has seen unprecedented momentum on state-level policies that will foster robust solar growth for decades to come. Most notably, five state-level jurisdictions established legally-binding targets for achieving 100% clean or renewable electricity, with two more states enacting 100% clean electricity goals. In addition, utilities and community choice aggregation programs are increasingly establishing their own clean energy targets, as well as proposing eye-popping amounts of solar over the next decade in their resource plans. This poster leverages EQ Research's comprehensive solar policy tracking database to highlight the rapid legislative, executive, and regulatory progress seen in the past year in advancing solar policy, providing insight into where we can expect new solar growth opportunities in the coming years.
