Community Solar for the Southeast project is a U.S. Department of Energy funded project to support deployment of community solar projects among electric cooperatives and municipal utilities in the southeast states. Phase 1 of the project included development of resources including a implementation guide, economic model, and pilot project. Currently in the Phase 2 of the project, the team is looking to provide no-cost technical assistance to electric cooperatives and municipal utilities to develop community solar projects. The poster will discuss the success and challenges of community solar development in the southeast states.
